Laura White, UCP Executive Director 

Laura has been with United Cerebral Palsy of Tampa Bay (UCP) since 1997. Prior to being promoted to the postion of Executive Director, she worked in the Therapy Program as a speech/language pathologist, the speech department coordinator, and the therapy services manager. Laura holds a Bachelor of Science degree in both Economics and Communication Sciences and Disorders, as well as a Master of Science degree in Speech Pathology, all from the University of South Florida. In 2008, she earned a Certificate in Nonprofit Management and Innovation from the University of Tampa. This graduate-level program helped further her understanding of the nonprofit sector including: analysis of financial performance, marketing, fund development approaches, identifying innovative opportunities for growth, strategic planning processes, and nonprofit leadership. Laura’s experience, expertise and passion for those with disabilities gives her the skills necessary to serve UCP’s staff, clients and community stakeholders.

Amy Moore, UCP Controller

Amy is responsible for UCP's Financial Departments. She received her B.S. in Business Administration and Accounting from the University of Central Florida.  Amy has more than 15 years of experience in Financial Reporting, Business Development, Process Improvement, Operations, and Project Management with strong implementation capabilities. She previously held the position of controller with a Professional Employer Organization (PEO) and an advertising/public relations firm.

Patti Hansen, UCP Director of Grants and Program Development 

Patti is responsible for securing grant funding for ongoing program operations and program development. She coordinates community awareness, public relations and media events for UCP of Tampa Bay. Patti joined UCP in 1991 as a speech therapist. She obtained her BA from the University of Florida and earned her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of South Florida. She is a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association, American Association of Grant Writing Professionals, the Tampa Gator Club and the University of Florida Alumni Association.
