At no time has there been a greater need for strong and capable not-for-profits such as United Cerebral Palsy of Tampa Bay (UCP). Consider the changing climate in our community:

• Clients and their families are presenting more diverse and complex needs.

• Public funding for not-for-profits is eroding. This not only reduces our support base, but also increases the need for services formerly provided by the public sector.

• Overall, philanthropic support is decreasing. And with instant communication calling attention to global issues and needs, there is increasing competition for philanthropic donations.

At UCP, we believe our mission is to provide value to our entire community. By assisting our clients and families achieve greater independence, we also strengthen the fabric and capabilities of the community at large.
