Our Story
Incorporated in April 1953 to meet the needs of children with disabilities and their families, specifically those with cerebral palsy, we were the first agency to join the United Way of Tampa Bay.
Today, UCP of Tampa Bay continues to serve the community by helping citizens of all ages with disabilities achieve inclusion and independence.
We take our commitment to our clients, families, employees, volunteers and donors very seriously.

UCP of Tampa Bay provides direct client services, focused on creating positive results for children and adults with special needs, their families and expectant mothers.
UCP Foundation is responsible for providing the resources necessary to achieve our goals by identifying corporate sponsors, raising funds from individual donors, sponsoring events, generating in-kind donations and recruiting volunteers. Many innovative opportunities are available that benefit United Cerebral Palsy of Tampa Bay.
