If you need massive storage for backing up your computer or using time machine, G-Technology has what you need. The two drives that we tested are the G-Technology G-Drive USB-C 4TB Drive and the G-Technology G-Drive Thunderbolt 3 4TB Drive. We purchased both external hard drives with our own money and we are not getting paid for this video review.
We tested the drives for speed using the Mac app named “Black Magic App Speed Test and the results surprised us. We used a new MacBook Pro to test this

We recommend buying on Amazon instead of Apple to save money. Typically the Apple store has a little bit of markup on these which is fine and worth the extra $20.00 if you need high-quality storage immediately, instead of having to wait a whole 48 hours for Amazon Prime shipping 🙂

So you think the USB-C version is mobile enough to be carried around on a daily?
If I want to use 4tb Thunderbolt 3 G drive with Mac book Pro where I will keep all plugins of Logic pro x, will it be enough smooth to work on making music track ?

What fast drives are you recommending for video editing these days? Was planning on a G-Raid Thunderbolt but clearly not worth the extra $$
So if I were to get a new iMac with a 500gb SSD to put the programs on and then plan on using this for storing all my files and accessing them for video editing, etc you don't think it will work well because it's too slow?
Short and simple, straight to the speed testing, exactly what i was looking for. This is the video that made me decide versus the 2 drives after watching hundreds of long confusing videos on these items. You deserve way much more exposure on your videos and channel.
