Alexander Graham Bell is famous for his invention of the telephone. In 1876, his device was the first ever to be able to reproduce sound. Before its invention, nothing existed capable of taking sound waves and replicating them.
Bell’s invention marks the beginning of our journey through time. This series, of which this video is the first, will be taking you step-by-step through the history of sound reproduction. We begin today with the Telephone.

  1. You are phenomenal. So gifted in how you explain. I spent 40k attempting to learn so much of this and I've not I've had an "aha" moment of understanding in the way I have watching you.

  2. It's been interesting watching your videos in reverse order. I've learned a ton over the last month or so, and it's impressive both how well you did starting out and how much you've improved despite that relatively good starting point.

  4. 3:24 – to be precise: the system for maintaining air pressure in an airplane doesn't fully compensate for the decreasing pressure. If it were just the decreasing atmospheric pressure, your eardrums would likely rupture.

I found this channel about a week and a half ago…I fall asleep listening to a playlist of these videos…the audio is as informative as both video and audio… congratulations on this body of work.. it is now my #1 channel and I as well an going to start from this first video and watch every one chronologically

  6. Jesus is this channel about devices or more like a brilliant way to showcase the very nature of reality and how humanity has used cleverness to manipulate it. Its amaizing!
