✍️ “DEBUNK” RESPONSE 🥩 📑 (PDF) – Here is my reply to a popular plant-based youtuber’s attempt at “debunking” this video.
✍️Actually, there’s been a lot of youtubers attempting to “debunk” this video. Here is my reply to another one: I’ll get to the others as I have time.
🌎The discussion with Dr. Mitloehner was immensely helpful but for those of you worried that I’m relying on one source: plenty of research was done before and after our conversation. I double checked all of his points and they are all backed up by research that is not his own. (All sources are in the below link.)
🐄This video is talking about conventional beef, not grass fed beef.
🥩There’s actually still a ton more to talk about that couldn’t fit in this video, how many of you guys would like to see another video expanding on this topic?

Also, check out the documentary “Sacred Cow” by Diana Rogers, narrated by Nick Offerman – well made, informative and engaging. The graphic design for the animation at 17:26 was based on an infographic from the Sacred Cow website – .

What about the much stronger methane the cows pump out that stays in the atmosphere for 12 years? You seem to have forgotten to mention that… although you conveniently mention it when it comes to food waste? This already proves what your agenda is.
Allowing industrial scale farming and food production to continue, unabated without regard to sustainability? That will be the end.
It's difficult to conclude that your hypothesis is correct since most published research is false and if you just nitpick the ones that suit your hypothesis then yeah cows don't really contribute much to global emissions. However, the vast majority of the publications indicate that cows do in fact contribute to climate change so there's that.
Stop making fizzy drinks, plastic toys, the list is endless, gates wants to feed you bugs that's it
Would've enjoyed the video better with that guy who is essentially just a mouthpiece for the cow industry trying to deflect as much blame as possible.
SOLELY eating less meat won't save the planet – but it would certainly help. After all, why do we have to pick between Meatless Monday and No Food Waste Wednesday?
Didn't really get the point with the water or land usage as the water, fresh or not, and land could still go to other uses.
The comparison of cows to trees was also weird.
Overall a weird topic to decide to do a video on but well done on getting those rage clicks and getting that sweet ad revenue money.
damn the vegans got really mad about this one turns out vegan market and trends are whats doing the most damage to the environment. Who woulda figured that? oh anyone who bothered to do a little research.
Thank you once again for your great video. A lot of useful analysis.
Methane is SEVERAL DOZEN times stronger than CO2 as a greenhouse gas, you can't say that the carbon the grass takes up is the same type of carbon as what the cows release.
Can I make Portuguese subtitles for this?
How can this have 25 thousand dislikes?
This video is composed of lies with notmal human testemony as if they are scientist it's like sitting with a bunch of friends telling tons of lies and you rewrite it . Usless video.
I'm gonna send this to the vegan teacher lol
There is so much half-information in this video.
Meat must be expensive only available for rich people as old days.
Most of the modern problems around food, and taking up space unnecessarily can be fixed by just reducing food waste. Too many farmlands? Let's stop wasting so much god damm food
This is a good video, but a final conclusion that no decline in meat consumption at all needs to happen is pretty ridiculous considering the nutritional concerns are easily addressed just by not going full vegan but stopping overconsumption.
Nah man. Believe the media. And then scream at everybody that has other ideas or dares to say otherwise.
Red Herrings: A How-to Guide
Next they will be going for our farts!
Thank you. So many lies and intentional misdirections on this topic.
Can you make a video on how to be' less anxious around people?
How many falseinformation can be put into a video?
What I've Learned : Yes
I don't care even if it would save the planet.
Asking me not to eat meat is asking me to die. My body does not do well on vegetarian food. I have no energy, and I get immensely sick.
You should debate a vegan and delve a bit into philosophy, noticing an is ought gap here
The obvious first step towards a climate change solution is to stop burning stuff for non-portable and non-emergency fuel and to replace that process with nuclear power and clean renewables. It's absurd and shameful that we haven't done this yet.
In one hear an out the other! Never heard so much rubbish
Why is this even on here! What a load of crap! No wonder the worlds gradually becoming obese! People just want to eat meat every day!
Even if most of the food livestock eats is "not human edible" doesn't mean we couldn't just compost it instead and use it to then improve crop yield for human edible foods. Just a thought.
just dont waste food, water, electricity or whatever resource you have, when everyone does that, its plenty of help compare to people screaming vegan for yrs
So everything is just fine and dandy….let’s keep sleeping
Veganism for me is:
90% Ethical
5% Ecology
5% Health
I don't care what you say about 5-10%, the Ethical part is what matters.
They want us all to go vegan because it's the most unhealthy way to go!
This is not a research. You set yourself a goal to please the meat industry, and than you manipulate all the data for this goal.
This video is full of lies.
Eating an animal which eat my food is not efficient. It's as simple as this.
And the cruelty in this industry is a horror.
What about the cruelty in the industrial farms? This is insane.
Technically though the carbon would stay locked in the grass if it wasn't eaten by cows? but point taken that carbon released by animals is cyclical and not the same as coal/fossil fuel
This video made me go vegan.
So much misinformation in this video it’s hard to know where to start. Can’t believe people actually buy these arguments
