Yesss.. GOOD! to bring this to the surface. Sadhguru is indeed a guru ..a real one, with good wisdom. But.. he lives in india and yes .. cows are sacred there .. but unfortunately that does not really shine through .. They are used as transport, for cow fights, walk on a rubbish heap or are stuck at a home to be milked. Maybe as a child.. he fell in a bowl of shit in front of the temple, but as far as I'm concerned he could be a little less holy here. He clings to his culture because it runs so deep. As an example the beautiful elements based ayurvedic healing methods. Tons of ghee (clarified butter) are mixed with medicinal herbs and contribute to the health of many. Even for fertilizing their land, there is the method called Panchagavya, prepared by mixing five ingredients: cow dung, urine, milk, curd and ghee. So yeah.. apparently its contradictory to argue with this.
Still I hope that he can admit that he is influenced by the norms and values that prevail there. Because fur sure, and definitely for vegans.. He is missing the good nature of what a guru should be in this sense. In my opinion we should just let cows do what they are meant to do. In other words .. give them a piece of open land and let them graze. They eat the grass so it grows better. They press holes in the ground so the water remains and with their shit and piss they make the ground fertile and rich in soil life.. Thats all.

I used to listen sadhguru then I suddenly stopped following him because in one his session claimed Buddha to be 1 % of shiva and that's totally unimaginable Buddhism and Hinduism are two different practice all and everything sadhguru siad was very much unclear how could someone claim Buddha to be 1% of shiva when this very person has never done any research or try to learn from the Buddhism gurus to know about what Buddha is just reading one or two books will not be able to know Buddha and that very day i believed this person isn't a guru not even 1% of Buddha being a guru Or what he talks about spirituality a person who is awaken even .5 % will first never talk about other rather then focused more toward what he or she is more into second if you are gurur of Hinduism you should more be focused on shiva than Buddha leave Buddha aside stick where you are….
