This is a demo of XeSS prepared by Rens using Unreal Engine.
XeSS is an easy to integrate API that uses deep learning to synthesize images that are very close to the quality of native high-res rendering by reconstructing subpixel details from neighboring pixels, as well as motion-compensated previous frames. This reconstruction is performed by a neural network trained to deliver high performance and great quality.

It's Over….
How about SDK for cross vendors RDNA, RTX etc..?
Amazing…..unreal engine
Can we AMD user expect to use this feature aswell? Is it open source like FSR? If so I would choose this over FSR since the quality looks much better.
My real question is why bother with this or DLSS when epic's Temporal Super Resolution is just better and provides pretty similar 2x performance? It doesn't make a lot of sense.
Ok the upscaling is impressive but wtf is with the the audio quality on her voice.
awesome
oO
I just want to know the temperatures, it almost seems as if gpu manufactures don’t care about it, i do, temps are just as important as fps…im hoping intel finds a way to have really good cooling performance, i love 4k but running my gpu at 75-85C makes me feel uncomfortable…not only that it shortens the life span of a card. The ps5 apparently does 4k 60fps at 62c which is really good and i definitely would not mind that. I got high hopes for you intel.
Shows 4k comparison
* uploads 1080p video *
Did I just heard her saying playing games at low graphics get enhanced
res
Really impressive.
It should quite possibly even run on Nvidia's tensor cores.
It more looks like downscaling rather than upscaling when you see the letters come vivid
Look how they always show slow pannel movements, when in reality the camera won't be that static…
Instead of showing actual "gameplay camera"
(Fast movements)
Text sharpening still needs work but looks very promising.
we will wait until it is "there" …. sry to say so, intel. I guess they know exactly why 😉
Is it Unreal Engine 4 or Unreal Engine 5?
looks good
hope intel does not lock upcoming GPUs to only certain chipsets and lets us use them on any PCIE 3.0 >= slot
hope they understand this
this is insane upscaling
not very smooth…jitters everywhere…is this lady blind?
Such good technilogis hostage by miners :-/
Hm. i love 2020x, DLSS, FSR, XeSS. Nice Work Brothers.
i dont sure , if Intel can
Intel You don't have to lie in every advertisement you make just tell the truth god damnit. It can Upscale the image closer to the Quality of Native 4K not the same. Even Nvidia's DLSS doesn't output image that is the same as Native 4K it's just close enough for us to ignore the minor differences.
you really need to upload this in 4k… not 1080p…
Why up to 2x times performance uplift. Shouldn't it be up to 4x times?
Intel should make integrated gpu in mcm design for desktop processor, just like the kaby lake G series.
Not having on die gpu will increase production yield of cpu dies while also allows more powerful integrated gpu.
14nm vega m in kaby lake was equivalent to gtx 1060
Looks very close to DLSS, even has some of that fizzling pixels artifacting, looks so much better than AMD FSR and im hoping this becomes the standard for upscaling pc games.
Talks about 4k but uploads video in 1080p. Great job…
Guys upload this in 4K. This is useless
Upscale 720p to 4K or 540p to 1080p – resolution. 1080p to 4K – is not.
Sorry, but this is just scam. You can't compare 1080p -> 4K upscaling in a 1080p video, for obvious reasons. Seriously, WTF.
Does this require hardware Machine Learning acceleration and if it doesn't what is the difference in performance and quality for a 1080p to 4K image output?
How to compare 4K VS 1080p in video that uploaded in 1080 ?
2 версии это вообще какой то сюр – продвигать свои видеокарты таким способом будет самый нелепый ход маркетологов.
Я разочарован в Intel.
@iIntel
Your video quite literally shows us the difference, it's very good, but there is definitely a 'visible quality loss' between 4k and 4k XeSS, and you should NOT be using that tagline.
4k upload?
Where do I sign up for a preorder?
