  1. The watch was the only thing I could afford. It's interesting to see how reviewers respond to it. The Apple-oriented seem to want to damn it with faint praise – some minor thing or other that the Apple watch might do better. I'm not much interested in vehicles based on animated dashboards and media integration (not that the adjustable ride height on the Volvo, or the touch/gesture temperature knobs on the Audi weren't cool). I prefer to see reviews on more significant advances, like fully electric vehicles, or further afield – fitness and medical tech,,
