In Lebanon we can't go to school not bc of covid, but bc of no gas for the school buses and everyone is super poor to pay for schools bc of the dollar. And if we wanted to do it online. We have no power or wifi, thank God we are Canadians/Lebanese but now we are stuck here and my dad is there working
I'm not saying keep your entire life savings in your mattress, but definitely don't keep everything in the bank, regardless of where you live. There are plenty of water-proof, fire-proof safes you can buy on amazon for less than $50.
Lebanon in 2021 is pure chaos after the explosion the major financial crisis this video is a very good explanation but Lebanon is way worse in 2021 and now the main problem is the president and the people working with him they are stealers they legit steal money from banks and now life savings put in bank accounts are all gone due to them stealing the money.

Venezuela is a different case from lebanon. For example a lot of the political instability in venezuela comes from the usa's constant meddling in venezuela's politics as well as the economic sanctiins imposed by the usa. We need to be careful about lumping examples together because often times the same results are produced by differing issues.

The situation in Lebanon sounds similar to the Weimar republic, except the politicians in this contemporary case had historical precedent and knew exactly how to mould the situation into a ponzi scheme while they pulled the wool over the citizens' eyes. There is of course the political void waiting to be filled….

Great video just 1 thing I'd like to correct is the fact that even before the economic crisis Lebanon's electricity used to be available half of the time i.e. 12 hours/day now after the crisis it's worse
Directly fighting corruption would cause war, so the solution is burried deep in the ground. All we can do is hope for positive change at this point.
